Richard’s Opinion:

I specialise in using natural therapies to treat animals. I see a lot of cancer cases and have used a wide range of supplements, herbs and homeopathy. I was getting good results before using CV247 but I can say, without doubt, that CV247 is the best non-conventional anti-cancer treatment available and has considerably improved the success rate I achieve.

I have been using CV247 for over five years. I use it on approximately 30 to 40 new cases a year, and have in total treated around 200 animals. I first started using it back when it was in a liquid form, and am now using the new tablet and capsule form, which is a lot easier to administer. I have mainly used it in the treatment of cancer in dogs, but have used it successfully on a small number of cats too.

CV247 is a really effective holistic treatment for cancer. This is partly because CV247 contains potent anti-oxidants that can help limit the growth and spread of cancer tissue, but also because one of the ingredients, sodium salicylate has an anti-inflammatory effect, which helps reduce the local inflammatory effects of the cancer but also reduces inflammation elsewhere in the body, including joints. CV247 appears to act as a ‘feel good’ remedy and the combination of ingredients seem to promote a sense of wellbeing, improve energy levels and enhance appetite if this is reduced. One of my long term patients took CV247 for more than three years, eventually dying of old age, not from his cancer. This is not uncommonly the case when CV247 is used, demonstrating how it can dramatically extend the life span of animals with cancer.

I originally heard about CV247 from Beverley Cuddy, the editor of Dogs Today magazine for which I write a monthly column. She publicised the work of John Carter, the vet who first formulated CV247 and I began prescribing it after reading about all the successes John achieved with his amazing product.

I have treated every kind of cancer with CV247: bone, bowel, leukaemia, lymphoma, mast cell tumours and many more. I think I have used it now for very type of cancer found in pets. I find it to be effective across the whole range of cancers, and all cancers seem to respond, as far as I can tell, equally well.

In terms of natural cancer therapies, there is nothing I have found that gives better results than CV247. In practice, I use it as my mainline treatment, but in conjunction with CV247 I advise pets are given a high protein, low carbohydrate diet, and depending on the individual case, additional homeopathic medicines, herbs and supplements.

Although I specialise in natural therapies for pets, I am a trained veterinarian with knowledge and experience of conventional cancer therapies. I qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1973. After 10 years as a veterinary surgeon in general practice, I began to specialise in holistic medicines. In my opinion, the results with CV247 are at least as good, if not better, than traditional chemotherapy. I have not seen adverse side-effects to CV247, whereas there will always be a significant risk of adverse effects to radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

The results I see in the vast majority of patients is a significant slowdown in the growth of the cancer. Sometimes tumours will stop growing or shrink in size. I get almost universally positive feedback from clients, and in some cases the improvement in their pets can be almost miraculous. Increased energy levels, brighter eyes, better appetites are all regularly reported.

I have sometimes prescribed CV247 on dogs that do not have cancer, but are suffering with arthritis or other joint problems, and have found it effective in helping to alleviate the symptoms of stiffness and discomfort.

The animals I have treated generally tolerate CV247 very well. I have sometimes prescribed CV247 for dogs with a history with colitis or other bowel problems, and seen no adverse effects. Although one of the ingredients, sodium salicylate is related to aspirin, which is known to sometimes cause intestinal problems such as gastric ulcers, sodium salicylate does not have the same potential for toxicity as aspirin itself, and the risk of adverse effects seems negligible. Naturally, however, it should only be given on the advice of a vet who is experienced in using CV247, and used with caution if pharmaceutical drugs are being taken at the same time.

I would always recommend CV247 as a treatment for cancer, and I hope that all vets will consider prescribing it for their cancer patients.
